Hand-lettered Christian calligraphy artwork, Isaiah 40:31, But they that wait upon the Lord…

This portrait oriented piece is of Isaiah 40:31 and begins with: "But they that wait upon the Lord…" The selection, from the Old Testament, is believed to have been written by Isaiah, and among books of the bible, the book of Isaiah is categorized as being one of Major Prophets.

The piece is based on the King James version of the Bible. The calligraphy and artwork were done entirely by hand - without the aid of a computer. The piece was hand lettered with a Gothicized Italics lettering style, in a brown ink.
