Hand-lettered Christian calligraphy artwork, Proverbs 3:5, Trust in the Lord…

This landscape oriented piece is of Proverbs 3:5 and begins with: "Trust in the Lord…" The selection, from the Old Testament, is believed to have been written by Solomon, and among books of the bible, the book of Proverbs is categorized as being one of Poetry (Writings).

The piece is based on the New King James version of the Bible. The calligraphy and artwork were done entirely by hand - without the aid of a computer. The piece was hand lettered with a Foundational variation lettering style, in a purple gouache ink. The illustration depicts Heart and background painted in paste paper and watercolor.
